The drifa cataclysm of 2054
In the year 2042, what seemed to be an asteroid was spotted heading in Earth's direction and was purportedly on a direct collision course with the Pacific Ocean. It was estimated to be roughly the size of Seattle and if it landed in the predicted year of 2054, the effects would be catastrophic. The end of human civilization could have very well been at hand. However, the crisis sparked a 12 year race against time to rapidly advance planetary defense technology before the predicted collision with the asteroid dubbed “Drifa.”
All companies involved in the development and use of technology were conscripted to create an environment capable of withstanding all known catastrophic weather events and sustaining human life indefinitely thereafter. The conscription conglomerates consisted of industrial, medical, agricultural, economical, ecological, architectural, militaristic and even video game companies. Together, they comprised the head research and development teams responsible for AI breakthroughs leading to the creation of capable materials for constructing artificial landmasses able to support incredibly durable city-sized habitats featuring experimental adaptive conversion technologies to generate energy from storm winds and flood waters, summer heat, winter cold, solar rays, and lunar radiation.
In the end, 500 city-sized, dome shaped habitats were erected across the United States. Other countries devised and implemented similar and derivative methods to sustain their populations. However, space was limited within these Biomes. On January 1st, 2054, the speeding object split the sky collided with the Pacific Ocean with such nuclear force to shut down broadcasting signals planet wide.
Over 3.9 billion people across the globe were estimated to have been lost to what became known in world history as
The Drifa Cataclysm of 2054.
What you’ll find ahead…
Lore drops for Frontier City Amalga and the citizens involved in PV12 and the surrounding world. This info won’t be crucial to enjoy the stories to come. It’s just a little something extra for interested parties to refer back to once the games release.
Tasty visuals are a work in progress.

The big bang that started it all.

The Drifa Cataclysm changed the whole of the Earth’s DNA. While there is much familiar material, new metals and ores have been born along with new germs and illnesses, mutated flora and fauna, and a slew of newly bizarre, astonishing, dangerous, and mysterious anomolies and circumstances have been cropping up wherever people venture outside of the biomes.
-
In The Deciverse, there will be fictional technology and words and terms used to describe it and how it functions. That’s usually how most fictional universes that you can sink your teeth into like to do it.
-
There are multiple factions and corporations at play within The Deciverse. Each of them carry their own relevance, influence, history and goals that we will get into expounding upon both here and within the comics and games.
-
Naturally, there are places in the world where things happen. Sometimes people in the world mention these places but can’t naturally drop 5 minutes of exposition to make it relevant. I’ll describe some of the most relevant places that a lot of characters this side of The Deciverse have connections to.

I’ll be using mostly Unreal Engine 5 to create character cards and visuals using screenshots with special post processing effects. I may hand draw certain things from time to time when very specific description is necessary.
