First, i’ll build a tiny catalog of mini games for a few

big reasons.

  • To grow as a game developer, both with and without Unreal Engine 5.

You don’t want to play a buggy, broken mess. I don’t want to create and sell crapware. Aside from that, there's always more to learn. Software tool sets like Gaea 2 and Blender 3D, more pipelines and work flows to adapt and evolve, more plug-ins and systems to consider like Mutable and Gameplay Ability System.

A year from now, there will be more and this will be old news. I am an eternal student.

  • Funding.

Without sponsors or backers, I only have the cash in my pocket. As I attempt to build tiny games from my bedroom in the small hours I have left after my day job, I suppress my ideas to make more than mini games since I realize that I can only eat what I can kill, so to speak.

As a solo, I need some money to contract a small team to bring my bigger ideas to life. But I won’t show up empty handed and start begging for cash. These first few games will cost pennies on the dollar but I firmly believe every purchase and donation will help reach the goal of launching Studio Deciverse’s flagship production, Project V12.

  • The modern gaming industry seems to lack spaces that cater to the specific sensibilities of escapism entertainment. Studio Deciverse aims to claim some of that space. So I’m making some mini games for exposure and practice more so than profit. I’m no revolutionary tactician. I am but a humble dork.

With that said, it has been decided that The MOST PLAUSIBLE COURSE OF ACTION is to launch…

Project Ohio Trash is A low effort, full purpose humble beginning.

The idea is to quickly throw together a bunch of fun and whacky “trash” games to improve my skills and get used to going through the full pipeline of game conceptualization, to development all the way up to launch day. It’s the long way around but…

I’ll trust the process.

Project Ohio Trash

This is the smallest part of my biggest project.
